...and the story of my trip continues. Well, after going to Boscha Observatory, we decided to go ahead to Tangkuban Perahu mountain. It is located about 20 km from north Bandung, west java, Indonesia. We went there by angkot (minubus) again. We paid IDR 10.000 for the transportation for a person. It took about a half hour to arrive in the gate of Tangkuban perahu. Along the way to go there, we saw a nice forest beside the road. Many high tress and fresh air. Well, we went to Tangkuban Perahu was about at 4 p.m, it is not a really good time to go there, indeed as Tangkiban would be closed at 5 p.m. Finally, we arrived to the gate of Tangkuban Perahu. We had to pay the entrance ticket first. Yeah, i had to tell you again that Obai got the different price again. He tried to negotiate to the manager of Tangkuban Perahu to get cheaper ticket, but his negotiation did not work though he showed his student card. Ah, poor you, Obai he he.. Yeah, after paying the entrance ticket, we continued to go up to the Tangkuban Perahu mountain. I tell you, we got the same experience with the annoying angkot driver as in Ciwidey terminal here. After moving from the gate, there was a man came to us and offered us an agkot to rent. He said we had to pay IDR 200.000 for both of us then i refused him. He chased after us and still talked and talked about the price he offered. He made it lower and finally he said he would give IDR 150.000. That was the final price he offered. I refused him then he went away from us after his hard trial. LOL. Yeah, we continued our walking. You knew it was about 8 km or more to reach the Tangkuban Perahu mountain. Obai got GPS in his mobile then we checked it how far it was then it said that we needed 2 hours to go there on foot. Ah, we laughed at our self as it was impossible to do that. We would reach Tangkuban in the night if we did so. Well, we only continued walking and Obai got an idea to make a sign with his hand and tried to stop a car. He did many times but everybody in the car ignored us. Poor Us..!! ha ha.. He asked me to do so but it did not work though we saw there were some empty space in the car that we tried to stop. Well, we lost our idea at that time, how we could reach Tangkuban as soon as possible. Finally, there was a man with a motorcycle passed us and i made myself brave to ask him to stop and asked whether he could take us or not. I said we would pay him.We negotiated about the price for a while then we dealed to pay him IDR 20.000. It was so cheap, right?. You knew we were in one motorcycle. He took us so the motorcycle had to take 3 people at the same time. I could not imagine if the motorcycle could speak, I bet it would scream out loud.ha ha... See, we got a cheaper price for the transportation to go to Tangkuban Perahu. He he we are always lucky!!
Yeah, finally we arrived in Tangkuban Perahu. I was amazed with the view of it. It was truly awesome. It was cloudy when we were there. There will be too much smokes in the evening so we can not see clearly for the crater. Well, we were happy. At least, we could take some good photos here. We spent about 1 hour to go around Tangkuban Perahu. Well, after going around we decided to go back . We thought for a while how we would go back. I asked to the security there and he said we could take an angkot. Well, we found an angkot with a cheap price. We paid IDR 30.000 for both of us. This angkot took us to Lembang. It took about a half hour. Well, after being in Lembang, we decided to go to villa isolla. It is located in UPI university area. What made me feel strange is that when i asked a man (*i thought he was the UPI student) about the location of Villa isolla, he said he did not know. ha ha Then i asked to the next man and we got the answer..!! We found the villa isolla. It has a nice architecture but we were not really lucky as we arrived in Villa Isolla at night so the picture of it that we took was not clear. We took a rest for a while there then we felt so hungry and we found a nice restaurant. We had dinner there then we continued to go back to our place. We found an angkot that took us to go back. There was a heavy traffic in our way back home. We almost slept in the angkor as we were so tired for visiting 4 places in one day. He he e.. Yeah, we made that.!! We could do that. That day was awesome. Well, i would never forget my trip with Obai as it was my first experience to go around Bandung. I was here since November 2011, it means i was here for more than 6 months but i never go around Bandung and because of this trip, i knew a bit about Bandung. Well, thanks for Obai to invite me to join you in your trip. I was so happy. You were not a stranger though we met at the very first time. We are friend now. Keep the friendship to last long. Thank You..Terimakasih. :)
